FAQ.

Each ring has a 1×1 stud on top. Each tile face has a corresponding socket. You press the tile down. It clicks on. You pull, it clicks off. No glue, no tools, no learning curve. The hold force is 6 newtons, enough to survive shower, swimming, sleep. Light enough to swap in two seconds.

No. We tested 5,000+ wear cycles. Pull-off force is 6N — for context, opening a soda can takes about 14N. The tile only releases when you intentionally pry it off. We've worn the same ring daily for 8 months. Zero accidental losses.

Yes. Plastic, rubber, enamel, and ceramic tiles all survive water, sweat, soap, sunscreen. The silver base is 925 sterling — naturally water-resistant, but we recommend drying after extended water exposure to prevent micro-tarnishing on the band.

Yes. Same 1×1 grid, same packs. When earrings land, your ring tiles will work on the earrings, and vice versa. One pack, multiple jewelry.

925 sterling silver. Cast, hand-finished, brushed matte, hallmarked at the Czech Assay Office in Prague. The stud on top is the same 925 silver, machined to the 1×1 standard.

No. Tiles are color materials (plastic, rubber, enamel, or ceramic depending on pack). The silver is the foundation. The tiles are the personality. You change the tile, not the silver.

No. We're a Czech jewelry brand. Our 1×1 stud uses the same dimensional standard that's been industry-standard for building toys since the 1950s. Our tiles are dimensionally compatible with that standard, which means yes: you could technically use our jewelry with LEGO bricks if you wanted to. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with the LEGO Group. We just respect a good engineering standard.

Technically, yes: a standard 1×1 LEGO tile fits our stud. But we don't recommend it for daily wear. LEGO tiles aren't designed for skin contact, sweat, or jewelry-grade durability. Use the MODU MODU tile packs we make — they're designed specifically for this purpose.

EU 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60, 62, 64. That covers ~95% of adult fingers. If you're outside this range, contact us at build@modumodu.eu and we'll quote a custom size.

Three options:

1. Print our free sizer (1-page PDF). It has a paper strip method and a circle method for measuring with a ring you already own.
2. Visit any jeweler — they'll size you in 30 seconds, free.
3. Measure an existing ring you wear: the inside diameter in mm minus 0.5 mm approximates your EU size × 1/π. Or just use option 1.

Yes — within 14 days of delivery, unworn, in original packaging. We'll cover return shipping in the EU.

Order a half-size up. Most people's ring fingers swell 1–2mm in heat. We'd rather you wear it loose in winter than have it stuck in July.

Warm water, mild soap, soft cloth. For tarnish on the silver band, use a silver polishing cloth (we include one in the box). Don't use ultrasonic cleaners — too aggressive for the snap mechanism.

925 sterling will develop a patina over time — that's normal. To slow it: store in the included pouch, avoid pools/spas (chlorine), don't sleep with it on. To remove patina: silver polishing cloth, light pressure, 30 seconds.

Keep them in the original pack box. Each tile has a small protective film on the underside that prevents oxidation between uses.

Worldwide. Standard service to EU, UK, US, Canada, Australia, Japan. Other destinations on request.

We ship from Prague within 7–14 days of order. Transit after dispatch: EU 3–5 business days, UK 4–6, US/Canada 6–10, Australia/Japan 8–12.

EU: free over €100, otherwise €5. UK: €8. US/Canada: €12. Australia/Japan: €18. Tracked + insured.

For US, Canada, Australia, Japan: customs may apply. We declare honest value. You're responsible for any duties. We've never had a package held up — but it's possible.

Every order ships tracked and insured. If a package is lost, we replace it for free.

14 days from delivery, unworn, original packaging. Full refund minus return shipping (EU customers: free return).

Email build@modumodu.eu with your order number. We send a return label within 24h. Take the package to any post office. Refund within 7 days of receipt.

When earrings land, they'll be subject to a 7-day return policy and must be unworn (hygiene rule). We'll inspect them on receipt. If they show wear, no refund.

Yes. Same 1×1 grid, same packs, new placement. Join the waitlist to be first.

In development, no firm date yet. The square ring uses the same 1×1 grid, so your tile packs will work on it too. Join the earrings waitlist for now — we'll announce the square ring on the same list.

Most packs restock. We make them as long as people want them. If a palette gets retired, we'll say so on its page — but the default is ongoing production, not finite drops.

Karlín, Prague, Czech Republic. We make everything in one workshop, with one bench, no outsourcing.
