What we collect, why, and on what basis
- Order data — name, email address, shipping address and order details. Purpose: to process, fulfil and ship your order and to meet our accounting and tax obligations. Legal basis: performance of a contract, and compliance with a legal obligation.
- Waitlist email — if you join a waitlist. Purpose: to notify you about a release. Legal basis: your consent; you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Contact messages — anything you send us through the contact form or by email. Purpose: to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you.
- Analytics data — usage data collected via cookies. Purpose: to understand how the site is used and improve it. Legal basis: your consent (see the Cookie Notice). Analytics run only if you accept them.
Processors and recipients
We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf: Stripe (payment processing). At checkout, Stripe also offers third-party payment methods, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Revolut Pay and Klarna; if you choose one, the payment is handled by that provider under its own privacy policy, and Klarna (a pay-later provider) acts as a separate controller, including for any creditworthiness check. We also use Resend (email), Vercel (hosting) and Google Analytics (analytics, only with your consent). Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or another valid safeguard. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
We keep order data for as long as required by accounting and tax law. Waitlist data is kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect processing done before withdrawal). To exercise any of these, email build@modumodu.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.gov.cz).
